TeamHub · Advanced Project module for Nextcloud
Runs inside Nextcloud AGPL-3.0 Data stays on your server
For agency owners, project managers & team leads

Deliver every project on time, on budget, and on track — inside Nextcloud.

The Advanced Project module turns any Nextcloud Team into a guided, phased project workspace. Budget, time, milestones, and health — one source of truth, in the tool your team already uses.

The problem

Projects live in seven places at once.

The budget is in a spreadsheet, tasks are in a board, hours in a timesheet app, milestones on the wall, decisions in chat threads, and the actual plan is in one person's head. By the time a lane slips or an hour cap blows, you find out at the retro — not when it can still be fixed.

The solution

The Nextcloud Team becomes the single source of truth.

Four phases — Initiation → Planning → Execution → Closing — with a guided Project Compass, a live Health widget, and connected Budget, Time, and Timeline tabs that share the same workstream lanes. Everyone on the same screen, without leaving Nextcloud.

1 Guided Onboarding

The Project Compass sets up every project the same way.

A new project manager can pick up a project on Monday and know exactly what to do next — no call to explain your process.
Project Compass in Planning phase — four checklist items with the ‘Next up: Configure the project contract’ prompt
  • Configure the project contract — fill in the 9-element PMC charter on the IntraVox page (or a file if IntraVox isn't installed).
  • Schedule a project team meeting — a kickoff to align on scope, timeline, and roles.
  • Define your project workstreams — add lanes to the Deck board as they become known.
  • Add at least one dated milestone — milestones own the Deck cards due before them and feed the health widget.
2 Proactive Project Health

See slippage before it bites — no weekly status meeting required.

A live traffic-light widget on every project home. Issues surface the moment they happen, with one-click links to the tab where you can fix them.
Project Health widget close-up — Budget & Time pillar (1 lane over budget), Milestones pillar (Alpha slipping, Beta and Release on track), Quality pillar (1 open decision)
  • Budget & Time: 1 lane over budget → Open Budget · Open Time
  • Alpha · Jul 9, 2026 · Slipping
  • Beta · Jul 15, 2026 · On track  ·  Release · Jul 21, 2026 · On track
  • Quality: 1 open decision → Open Messages
3 Unified Budget & Time

One budget, one timesheet, per-lane roll-up. Nothing to reconcile.

Answer "where did our budget and hours actually go?" without merging two exports. Client reporting stops being a Friday spreadsheet exercise.
Budget tab — Project Budget €5,000, Allocated €5,000 (100%), Spent Projected €150, Remaining Real €4,850, budget utilisation 3%, and per-lane bars for the six workstreams
Time tab — 50h available, 1h 30m logged, 48h 30m remaining, 3% utilisation, logged-vs-available per member, logged per lane, and individual entries per lane
  • Budget — €5,000.00 total · €150.00 spent (projected) · €4,850.00 remaining · 3% utilisation.
  • Time — 50h available · 1h 30m logged · 48h 30m remaining · 3% across the project.
  • Per-lane tracking across Project Management, Design, Engineering, Marketing, Communication, and Finance.
  • Every entry rolls up — Jaap's 1h to Add project milestones and 30m to Invite project members land in the same Project Management lane the Budget tab reports on.
4 Visual Timeline

Every lane against every milestone — without a separate Gantt tool.

Stakeholder-ready project visualisation, straight from the app that already holds the plan.
Multi-lane timeline view of a live project — Project Management, Design, Engineering, Marketing, Communication, Finance lanes with tasks placed against Alpha, Beta, and Release milestone vertical lines
  • Six workstream lanes: Project Management, Design, Engineering, Marketing, Communication, Finance.
  • Fixed vertical milestone lines: Alpha (Jul 9) · Beta (Jul 15) · Release (Jul 21).
  • Deck cards, tasks, and events sit on the timeline in the lane they belong to.
  • Slippage against a milestone is visible at a glance — no export, no manual update.
