TeamHub is AGPL v3. The Community version is a full development version which you can use freely but we will ask you for feedback, run telemetry, and iterate quickly. An Enterprise licence turns the app quiet, no in-app prompts, no telemetry, unlocks the gated modules, a compliance center and gives you a direct line to the maintainer.
Purchasing isn't live yet. We are finalising the design and apply that to the app. Want to test advanced Projects? You can request a 30-day trial from the TeamHub admin settings, licensing tab.
The base app will be AGPL v3. If you're running the AGPL version today, you can keep running, studying, and improving it.

Free while you evaluate — you help shape the product. Licensed when you deploy for real — the app goes quiet, gated modules unlock, direct support kicks in.
A production licence flips TeamHub from a two-way development tool into a private, quiet production app and hands you the gated functionality and a direct line to the maintainer.
Advanced Projects — four phases, Project Compass, milestones, per-workstream budget & time, project-health widget, closing artifact — plus every future licence-gated functionality at no extra cost.
No more in-app feedback prompts, no maintainer messages inside the app. The workspace becomes yours — TeamHub gets out of the way so your teams can just work.
Telemetry stops at the moment your licence activates. Connected sends only a minimal daily heartbeat (licence & seat count, nothing else). Air-gapped sends nothing at all.
A direct channel to the maintainer for questions, priority bug triage, and upgrade advice. Paying customers also get first say in what ships next on the roadmap.
Auditing for your teams, code compliance — all from one overview. Stay in control of what's happening across every workspace on your instance.
How the Enterprise licence behaves once purchases go live.
A seat is a unique person who is a member of at least one team
The count is computed the same way on your instance and on the licensing back-end, so what you see on your Statistics tab matches what your licence check compares against.
Unlimited licences never fire over-seat warnings regardless of member count.
Every instance can start one full trial per lifetime with unlimited seats, 30 days, the whole product. Not a crippled demo.
One trial per instance UUID. Wiping the app, deleting the licence row, re-enabling — none of those reset the trial marker. If you legitimately need a reset, contact us.
The trial button lives in the app under Settings → Administration → TeamHub → License.
The paid licence has four states:
No data is ever lost through non-renewal. Basic surfaces (messages, files, calendar, Deck, Talk, presence, decisions) keep working forever, on every team.
Paid TeamHub licences are bound to your Nextcloud instance UUID. The current UUID is visible with copy-to-clipboard on the License admin tab.
Stopping payment does not delete anything. The current key expires on its own; the instance enters grace for 30 days, then soft-lock.
In soft-lock, existing data from gated functionality is retained and read-only. Basic surfaces on every team continue to work forever. No content is deleted through licence enforcement.
Renewing at any time — mid-grace, mid-soft-lock, years later — restores full functionality immediately upon pasting a fresh key.
Drop us a line — we'll let you know the moment the Enterprise licence opens for purchase.
